Jean Simmons is best known for her roles in sword-and-sandals movies such as "The Robe", "The Egyptian", and, of course, the immortal "Spartacus", but she, being a lady of the times - the 1950's, that is - wore long gloves frequently in other movies - e.g., "Desiree".
