Kay Kendall and Opera Gloves in "Les Girls", Part 3

In this gallery, For the Love of Opera Gloves looks back at the late British comedienne (d. 1958) Kay Kendall, wife of Rex Harrison, and one of her last and best-known movies, "Les Girls". (Much more of Kay in opera gloves can be seen in the movie vidcap gallery devoted to "The Reluctant Debutante".) This movie, in which she co-starred with Mitzi Gaynor, Taina Elg, and Gene Kelly, is particularly notable for the omnipresence of multicolored opera gloves in the advertisements and promotional materials!
