The former Sarah Ferguson, more familarly known as "Fergie", became Duchess of York in 1986 when she married Prince Andrew. Although they were divorced in 1994, they remained quite close and in fact are now living as a couple again with their two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and reportedly wish to remarry in the face of opposition from other members of the Royal Family. The Duchess of York has quite a fondness for opera gloves, as can be seen from the pictures in this gallery; she reportedly gave a pair of them right off her own hands last year to a well-wisher who admired them as she was leaving a formal event!
