Jane Russell, one of Hollywood's leading bombshells of the late 1940's and early 1950's, achieved her peak as Marilyn Monroe's costar in the immortal "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (though a lot of gentlemen, no doubt, ended up preferring spectacular brunette Jane!)
