Welcome to the home page of the Gloves Webring! This webring is intended to bring together all sites on the Web having to do with gloves. Not only sites run by lovers of gloves, but also glove vendor sites, glove manufacturer sites, historical and theatrical costuming sites, vintage and specialty clothing sites, and celebrity sites devoted to celebrities who like to wear gloves are all welcome.
What are the requirements for joining the Webring?
The primary requirement is that your site must have something to do with gloves - in other words, there must be significant (at least one page's worth) information relating to gloves. Naturally, the more glove info your site has, the better! Hardcore porn/XXX sites are not allowed on this Webring (that is, sites whose primary objective is the depiction of explicit sexual activity, or whose content is X-rated). PG-13 and R-rated sites are acceptable, however (thus parents should always be sure to know where their children are surfing!)
How do I join the Webring?
It's very easy! Just fill out the form below and submit it. You'll get instructions step by step on what you have to do. You'll get a password (which you will need to create yourself), a site ID number, and the ring ID of the Gloves Webring, all important information for maintaining your site within the Webring. You will also get a HTML fragment which you MUST add to your page, as this will be your interface with the Gloves Webring.

IMPORTANT! When you emplace this HTML fragment on your webpage, you MUST put the following information in the appropriate places:
Where "your@mail.here" = enter your email address.
Where "your name here" = enter your own name.
Where "id=xxx" = enter the ID number assigned to you by the webring signup process.
When you've successfully submitted your site URL, you will need to put the appropriate HTML fragment on your page. You can do this in one of three ways; by using the HTML fragment you should have received with the email confirming your site submission, by copying and pasting the HTML fragment from here (you will need to edit it in your text or HTML editor to make it read more neatly than it appears here), or by going to Ring Management and picking up the fragment there (don't forget your ring ID, site ID number and password!) Please note that your site cannot be added to the Gloves Webring until you have placed the HTML fragment on your page. The fragment must be placed either on your site's home page or on a designated links/webring page, in a prominent place on either page. IMPORTANT: When you are installing the HTML fragment on your page, you MUST replace the places where it says --id-- with your site ID number, and do likewise where it says --mail-- and --name--. If you don't do this, it can lead to a broken Ring as visitors to one site get jammed up when they can't go on to another site!
The following graphics should be included with the HTML fragment; you can download them from this page and upload them to your own page along with the HTML fragment.
