Jane Russell, who had a real (and too little used) gift for this sort of thing, was the female lead in the uproarious 1954 comedy "Son of Paleface" opposite Bob Hope and Roy Rogers (and Trigger!). She made her entrance in a torrid saloon-hall dance, wearing black mousquetaire opera gloves, which no doubt impressed Ol' Slope-Nose (though I'm not so sure about the straitlaced Roy. :) )
