Doris Day tried a rather different kind of role on for size than her usual bubbly comedy self in the 1960 thriller "Midnight Lace", playing opposite Rex Harrison, John Gavin and Myrna Loy. Doris wore 6-button leather gloves in almost every scene (unfortunately not shown here), and Myrna Loy, who usually was reluctant to wear gloves, wore very nice black opera gloves in one key scene, which For the Love of Opera Gloves is proud to present - the Montana Marvel wasn't much of a glove-wearer, so scenes like this one are quite rare and precious!
