I am actively soliciting new pictures of gloved celebrities, especially the great actresses of Hollywood (see my specific wants list below), but am also very interested in high-quality pictures of modern celebrities and fashion models in opera gloves. Only two caveats: (1) The picture cannot be hard-core porn or a fully nude shot (see below); (2) If possible, please try to resize your JPG, if it's a BIG one, to 200kb or less before you send it to me, if you can do that without degrading the image quality. This helps save space on my Xoom and Yahoo! servers and also makes it easier for me to work with the images, which means _your_ exclusive contributions get up sooner! All contributors will receive credit for their contributions on the gallery pages where their images are used.

At the present time, this site is in need of the following items (NOT AN EXCLUSIVE LIST!) -
- Photographs, paintings and artwork of women wearing opera gloves and other long gloves in the Regency/Napoleonic, Victorian and Edwardian eras (and certainly more artwork by Harrison Fisher or Charles Dana Gibson of women in long gloves!);
- Gloved photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, Gina Lollobrigida, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Jayne Mansfield, Vivien Leigh, Natalie Wood, Carole Lombard, Merle Oberon, Jean Simmons, Doris Day, Ann Sheridan, Mitzi Gaynor, Cyd Charisse, Claudette Colbert, Irene Dunne, Lucille Ball, Jeanne Crain, Elizabeth Taylor, the Gabor sisters, Debbie Reynolds and Natalie Wood, especially roles or candid photographs in which they wore opera gloves;
- Gloved photographs of Kim Novak in any role in which she wore opera gloves, especially in "Pal Joey" and "The Legend of Lylah Clare";
- Gloved photographs of any or all of the following actresses in order that I can make individual galleries for them:

- Pictures of Japanese actresses and other celebrities in opera gloves
- Pictures of other newsmakers and celebrities wearing opera gloves.
This list is NOT exclusive - if you have a high-quality photograph of an actress, singer or model of the classic or modern eras in opera gloves, and it's not in the galleries, submit it! Remember, you will be credited for any and all of your submissions used in the galleries.

I am also looking for movies in which there are good opera glove scenes of a suitable length (at least 30 seconds). I am currently searching for the Famke Janssen/Shannon Tweed "Model By Day" and the Jacqueline Bisset "Napoleon and Josephine; A Love Story".

NOTE: If you wish to email contributions, please send them to webmaster@operagloves.com, as that mailbox has the most space for receiving images. To avoid overusing bandwidth, 1 to 2 MB worth of images per message works best, so if you have a large number of pictures to send, please space the load out over several emails. I am working on getting a place set up on the Web where you can upload new images directly without having to email them, and will post the address when I succeed in doing so.
